OUR HAIR QUALITY

We hereby confirm that our real hair wigs meet the highest quality standards.

With proper care and handling, we guarantee that the hair will remain supple for a period of 12 months and will not have any coarse knots, mats or breakage.

Please refer to our washing instructions and general care guidelines for your wig.

Excluded from the guarantee are loosening of knots on the top of the head and at the hairline, seam loosening, fraying of the ends, intensive exposure to chlorinated water or strong sunlight.

Please note that normal wear and tear will occur with frequent use. Further information regarding wear can be found in our wear and tear document.

Where does our hair come from?

At NKAYE Hairsystem, we offer you two different donor hair regions.

Our Asian cut hair is donated in darker shades.

Care is taken to ensure that the hair is thick and healthy all the way to the ends, and that the cuticle layer is intact and aligned in one direction.

If you would like to order blonde hair, it will be lightened using gentle steps. We also offer the option of blonde cut hair, however, this must be requested individually and is not kept in stock.

The hair used in our Slavic wigs comes from the eastern region of Russia (Europe).

The hair can be gently lightened or ordered as cut hair, which also needs to be requested.

All wigs (from both origins) are covered by our one-year quality guarantee.

Wear and tear

A lace front model is naturally knotted with individual hairs at the roots. This is the most natural way of wearing a wig, but it is also very delicate.

To prevent the knots from coming undone prematurely, use a daily attachment and do not sleep with your wig on (it is doable, but it will cause the wig to wear out faster).

Try to use as little non-water-soluble adhesives as possible to secure the hairline.

Use water-soluble gel.
Repeated attachment and cleaning causes the knots to loosen more quickly and the tip to fray more quickly.

If you still want to wear your wig 24 hours a day and keep it in place for a longer period of time, you can of course do that and have us prepare your wig (thicken it and retie the hairline). Depending on use, we recommend retying the hairline every 4 months.

The aim is a durability of at least 12 months, including correct care and preparation. Nkaye Hairsystem provides a 12-month guarantee for beautiful hair quality for every newly purchased model.

The guarantee applies to:

  • Coarse hair loss that makes the wig appear light

  • Excessive hair breakage

  • Severe drying out / felting of the hair

Excluded from the guarantee are:

  • Mild hair loss

  • Mild hair breakage

  • Untying knots in the tip

  • Excessive UV radiation

  • Excessive heat treatment

  • Excessive contact with chlorine

  • Constant rubbing on coarse fabrics (clothing)

  • use of unsuitable care products

Generally speaking, finer wigs are more delicate and require more care, while coarser wigs are more durable but also less attractive.

The more often and for longer a wig is worn, the more susceptible it is to wear and tear.

Everyday dirt and environmental influences such as sweat, UV rays, dry air, sebum, steam and dust significantly affect the durability of a wig.

It is therefore essential to regularly refurbish and carefully care for wigs, e.g. with special care shampoos.

To significantly increase the lifespan of wigs, it is recommended to use two or more wigs alternately.

If you decide to wear your wig for an extended period of time, you may develop a flaky scalp because it cannot be regularly cared for.
However, this does not affect your natural hair growth.

You will lose some of your own hair 7-10 days after removing the wig, as your natural hair has been trapped under the cap for several days and hasn't been able to fall out naturally. This is no cause for alarm, as it's normal for people to lose 70-100 hairs a day.

Wearing a wig for several days can cause itching, sores, and skin irritation.

When reapplying, carefully remove the tapes and liquid adhesive from your scalp to avoid damaging your own hair.

Once your own hair has grown back to a good density, you should treat it with a dandruff shampoo for the first time so that it regenerates as quickly as possible.

If you plan to wear the tape/stick it for an extended period, do not always apply it to the same areas of your scalp, as this can also lead to oxygen deprivation in the hair roots or skin irritation.
